You know I’m all about finding wardrobe staples that are stylish, practical, and flattering, especially when they’re from a brand I know and trust. I have a few items from Cotton Traders and I wear them to death and the quality is just incredible. So when I spotted the new Alex Jones Collection with Cotton Traders, I couldn’t wait to try a few pieces. You might already know how much I love mixing high-street style with comfort, and this collection hits that sweet spot perfectly! I love Alex's effortless old money style and I want to be more put together and less slob on the couch and I think this collection is just that. Its easy to wear and looks just gorgeous.
I am a size 6, I am wearing cotton traders smallest size in each item.
Let’s talk about what I picked up
Printed Wide Leg Trousers – Navy Floral Dream
First up, these Printed Wide Leg Trousers are giving all the spring-summer vibes I need. The navy base with the delicate floral print is just chef’s kiss. They’re lightweight, breathable, and have an elasticated waistband, which let’s be real, we all love for those comfy, flattering fits. These are the length 29 in size 8. They do two lengths, 29 and 27 and size 8 to 24. There is also a flora print and they have nice pockets. I love a pocket.
The wide-leg cut is perfect for creating that relaxed yet pulled-together look. I’ve been styling these with everything from crisp white trainers to sandals, and they transition beautifully from day to night. Pop on a cute blouse or tuck in a tee and you’re ready for brunch, errands, or even a relaxed dinner out. Super versatile. They hold up in the washing, and they are just so easy to wear but give the illusion that I have put effort in. The perfect spring summer trousers, in my opinion. I know I had to have them because they are like a dalmation print too. I mean, who says I can't match with my dog, ha..
Wrinkle-Free Short Sleeve Cardigan – The Everyday Hero
Let me introduce you to the Wrinkle-Free Short Sleeve Cardigan, aka my new layering BFF. Why can't all my clothing be wrinkle-free in design? I hate ironing. I don't hide how much I hate it. I once had a job where I had to iron every day, and when I left, I though a party to bin my iron. I am wearing size 8, The sizing range is 8 to 24. This one comes in three colours in total. Mint green and light grey.
The cardi is light enough to wear on warmer days, but adds just the right amount of coverage when the breeze hits. And can we just appreciate the fact it’s wrinkle-free? That means it’s perfect for travel or those mornings when you’re rushing and don’t have time to iron or hate it (we’ve all been there!). Plus, the length is long. Yes, a decent length, which is so hard to find these days. I like a longer length in tops and its just the hardest thing to find. But cotton traders have go me covered.
I went for the navy to pair it with the trousers, but honestly, it goes with almost everything in my wardrobe. It’s got that easy, throw-on-and-go feel while still looking polished. Love, love, love!
For the Men – Ultimate Comfort 4-Way Stretch Jeans
I couldn’t let my hubby miss out on the Cotton Traders goodness, so I picked him up the Ultimate Comfort 4-Way Stretch Jeans in stonewash. He’s a tough one to buy for he loves comfort above all else but these passed the test with flying colours. He basically live in cotton trader jeans these days.
He’s worn them for everything from dog walks with Mylo (our Dalmatian) to casual days out, and they’ve held their shape beautifully. The stretch means they move with him, and the straight-leg fit looks smart without feeling restrictive. He’s already hinting that he wants another pair… which says it all really!
Final Thoughts
The Alex Jones Collection is a gorgeous balance of style, comfort, and versatility – just what I look for when updating my wardrobe. Whether you're after a statement print or effortless basics that’ll work season after season, this collab with Cotton Traders is absolutely worth a browse.
