I did it I finally bought some Fenty beauty products. I know, I know where have I been. In my defence, I only have one face to test products on. Anyway, today we are talking about one of the most talked about contour products in the game the Fenty Beauty Match Stix Contour Skinsticks. I've been using these little magnetic magic wands for a while now, and let me tell you there’s a lot to say about it.
First off I have combination skin, I like a no makeup, makeup look and I bought the shade Amber suede and I did buy it during a crazy sale on their site for £17.50 instead of the normal £25. I know not helpful telling you about the sale now. But I am sure it will happen again.

Rihanna’s makeup line is known for inclusive shade ranges, and these skinsticks are no exception There are 9 shades in the contour line and her team has worked hard on the range and I am loving it.

Tips for Blending Match Stix Cream Contour
These cream contours blend like a dream, but here’s a tip: warm them up on the back of your hand before applying for extra smooth application. Use a dense brush for sculpting or a damp sponge for a soft finish.
Using Match Stix for Different Skin Types
Whether you’ve got oily, dry, or combo skin, the formula adapts well. I have combination skin, and it never looks muddy or dry. It sits beautifully on moisturised skin and doesn’t cling to texture or pores.
What Makes Fenty Beauty Match Stix Unique?
Let’s talk packaging: the magnetic sticks snap together in your makeup bag, making them travel-friendly and so satisfying. I want to buy another one just to do this. The formula itself is long-wear, pigmented, and super versatile. You can use them as blush, lip colour, or even eyeshadow. There has been some real effort put into the design of this product.
Comparison with Other Contour Sticks
I’ve tried contour sticks from NARS and Huda Beauty, but Fenty’s stand out for their texture and shade range. Some sticks can look patchy or dry not these. They blend easily and don’t crease and are long-lasting, You know I do a lot of beauty reviews so I know what I am talking about.
Buildable Coverage of Match Stix
You can go soft or sculpted. Whether you’re just learning to contour or love full glam, the Match Stix give you total control. I love how I can start light and build the contour intensity without it looking cakey.
Rihanna's Influence on Fenty Beauty
Can we just appreciate how Rihanna reshaped the beauty industry? Her emphasis on inclusivity made other brands step up. Yes, Rihanna! Her products feel luxe, but practical and the Match Stix really embody that vibe and they are really nicely priced for the quility. I have wanted to try the Fenty beauty range for ages because of how passionate Rihanna is about the products.
How Do the Match Stix Perform on Different Skin Tones?
With shades like Amber for cool-toned light skin and Espresso for deep tones, the Match Stix cater to all. I’ve seen them used beautifully across skin tones, no weird undertones, no ashy contour just blending effortlessly into the skin.
Best Shades for Medium Skin Tones
For light-medium like me Amber suede, medium skin, Mocha and Truffle are amazing contour shades. Dark tones ebony and caviar.
How to Choose the Right Contour Shade
Stick to 1-2 shades darker than your skin tone for contour, and go cool-toned if you want definition. Use Fenty’s site or visit Sephora for swatches and shade-matching tools for the beauty match stix matte skinstick.
Swatch and Review of Match Stix Shades
I swatched Truffle, Amber, Mocha, and Rum and they’re all creamy, pigmented, and blend out so well. No dragging or tugging. The pigment payoff is strong, but still skin-like.

My Review Of Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte
I don't know where to start. I love the packaging how clever and so handy for your travel make-up bag. I was blown away by the ease of use of this product. You can use a little and build up it has great pigmentation and blends like an actual dream. No muddiness at all. It somehow adapts to my skin and it's just flawless.
It is honestly the easiest cream contour I have used. I have nothing but praise for this product. I also use it as an eye shadow when travelling. I always finish with a Charlotte Tilbury setting spray and it lasts all day. No matter whether this holds up. It just gives me that contoured look I love with ease and what more can we ask for in a product.
I will be buying more Fenty Beauty stix to try. This is my go-to bronzer. There is a reason you see these products in celebrity makeup artists' kits. They are just that good. Top tip: I have seen them used as lip product by just adding a lip gloss too. That shows how easy the formula blends if it's so versatile.
