So Let's start with the basics that might seem strange. I bought this product for my legs. Yes, its meant for the face.  I mountain bike and my legs are in an awful state. They are subjected to all the elements and are dry bumpy and rough. So when I saw this product I had to order it right. It hit all my concern areas in one product but does it actually work or is it all hype and not substance? Can it really give me the skin of dreams without composing my skin's natural barrier? You know I have put in the research so you can get a full understanding of this product and if it is any good for you. Yes,  I have used it on my face too.

How Does It Stack Up Against Hydrating Cleansers?

CeraVe’s hydrating cleanser ( my normal face option) is a better option for extremely dry skin, but it lacks the exfoliating benefits of the Smoothing Cleanser. So it depends what your goal is and what other product you have in your routine.

My Review

I’ve been using the SA Smoothing Cleanser for a few months, and it’s quickly become a staple. It’s gentle yet effective, leaving my skin smooth and hydrated without any irritation. When I use this as a face cleanser it removes my makeup with ease even waterproof mascara.  It leaves my skin feeling very clean. I always follow up with a good moisturiser and SPF. I have not found this to break me out or cause irritation at all. 

But I have been using this on my leg. If you could have seen what I was dealing with I think you would have been shocked. My legs were in a bad way bumpy, with a few annoying ingrown hairs and oh so dry. I know they sound lovely right? Also covered in bruises. Well, mountain biking is a hazardous sport. But I could not believe how fast using this product has helped my legs appear like normal people's legs again from the first use I could see a big difference. 

I couldn't be without this in my routine now. I have used it on my face and I like it there too but it didn't have the same wow results that my legs and underarms have had whilst using this. Hello, I'm now getting my legs out in summer now. If you are dealing with bumpy skin you need to try this. My skin is no longer bumpy grumpy dehydrated skin. It's happy and healthy and looks smooth and I haven't had any ingrown hairs in ages. I guess my legs have put this to the ultimate test and it has passed with flying colours. I honestly think it’s perfect for anyone looking to simplify their routine without compromising results.
