First impressions are everything, and the right packaging can make all the difference. You know I love some nice packaging and this one is sleek and timeless and if I am completely honest it doesn't blow me away but it feels like to hold and it works so I have no real complaints.  Nars is high end so I guess I expect a lot from this.

What is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer formula?

Concealer is a coveted formula that has become a favourite among makeup artists and beauty enthusiasts alike. Known as the 1 selling prestige concealer, it provides a full coverage concealer option. The innovative blend of ingredients, including isostearic acid, silica, and tin oxide, ensures a smooth application, allowing you to apply concealer effortlessly for a flawless finish.

This great concealer also features aluminum hydroxide and peg-10 dimethicone, which enhance the product's texture while providing a radiant look. With its ability to seamlessly blend into the skin, it’s ideal for highlighting and contouring, making it an essential part of any makeup routine. The formula includes disteardimonium hectorite and peg-9 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone, ensuring long-lasting wear that pairs perfectly with the radiant longwear foundation for a complete makeup look.

What are My Initial Thoughts?

My first impression of the NARS Radiant Concealer is extremely mixed if I am honest. The packaging is sleek and practical, while the doe-foot applicator makes application easy and precise. The formula feels lightweight yet creamy, offering medium coverage that’s buildable. I love its radiant finish, which leaves my skin looking fresh and dewy. The concealer works under the eyes. My first thoughts on this concealer were good. it blends well it is easy to use and feels light on the skin.

Texture and Application

This applies easily and the texture is a medium consistency. It is pilable and buildable and it is no too heavy. You have time to blend this product before it dries. I have tried it with a brush and beauty blender which both work but my favriote is using my fingers as I find I get a more even application.

How to Apply It for the Best Results?

I like to apply my concealer after my foundation. I know there are all sorts of techniques. I was trained to do this. When I did makeup artist training. Well, I was trained to do all sorts of applications but for my skin, this is what I like.

Longevity and Wear

When it comes to wear time, the Concealer truly impresses for the first couple of hours  It delivers a nice finish that holds up without creasing. But after a few hours, the concealer startes to fade really quickly and settles in to all my fine lines and textured skin. Gone is the radiance I had and boom hit with the lovely sight of it caking in to my skin and highlighting every pore I have. I am not impressed with the longevity and durability of this concealer I really expected better. But for a couple of hours, it does look lovely and covers dark circles but then it seems to brack down. Now this could just be my skin typre.

Shade Range and Versatility

This Concealer stands out for its impressive shade range, offering 30+ shades that cater to a variety of people. Whether you’re fair, deep, or somewhere in between, finding a match is easy. Its versatility is a strong point. It works well for concealing, highlighting, and even contouring. The formula adapts beautifully to both bare skin and full foundation, allowing you to customize coverage for any look. Whether you're targeting under-eye circles, blemishes, or evening out your complexion, this concealer delivers excellent results for all purposes!

Can It Be Used for Multiple Purposes?

Yes, the Concealer is incredibly versatile and can be used for multiple purposes. Aside from concealing dark circles and blemishes, its creamy, buildable formula makes it ideal for highlighting high points of the face and even contouring. Whether you’re aiming for a natural no-makeup look or a full glam finish, this concealer adapts to your needs. Its radiant finish brightens under the eyes while providing seamless coverage for imperfections, making it a true multi-tasking product. Perfect for an all-in-one solution in any makeup routine!

Price and Value

It is priced at the higher end of the market, I paid £15 for my mini at 1.4ml of product . You only need a small amount for full coverage, meaning the product lasts a long time. Its wide shade range and radiant finish elevate its value even further, making it suitable for a variety of skin tones and needs. I am on the fence if I would give it another go at this price I have better lower cost concealers. I guess there is the chance something was a miss with mine. I bought it at the airport before a flight.

How Does It Compare to Other Concealers?

While the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is often praised, it doesn’t stand out significantly compared to more affordable options. Although it offers decent coverage and a radiant finish it is slightly heavier than advertised, with a tendency to crease after several hours, especially under the eyes. For the price, there are other concealers, like Maybelline Fit Me or L.A. Girl Pro Conceal, that offer similar performance at a fraction of the cost. If you’re on a budget or looking for a lightweight formula, you might find better value elsewhere.

Final Thoughts

I really wanted to love the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. Initially, it applies beautifully with a creamy, radiant finish, offering decent coverage. However, after just a few hours, it started to crease and settle into fine lines, particularly under my eyes. Unfortunately, it also began to look cakey, especially in areas where I built up the coverage. For the price, I expected more longevity and smoother wear. While it has some great qualities, like its shade range, I was ultimately disappointed by its performance over time. I would love to say this is the product I have been searching for but it just missed the mark and I am so disappointed. I have loved Nars for years but this is a miss for me,
