When people look at me they may think I am a body-confident person and I wouldn't have insecurities around my body. This is one of the biggest misconceptions about me and other smaller people. First, we should never judge anyone else's body no matter its size or shape. Notice I call myself Small. Not skinny I am athletic. Not in the way of stereotypical body types but because part of my job is being an athlete so I train hard and my body is smaller because of this. It is not skinny. What you might not know about me unless you have been a long-term follower of mine is I was a UK size 24. I was 9 stone heavier than I am now and If I am completely honest with you all. I had more confidence in my body then than I do now. Training has left me with a body I am not used to and I need to find my body confiance again.

High-Waisted Shaping Shorts.

When it comes to any shapewear my normal go-to is a pair of high waisted shaping shorts. These are my favourites for wearing with a figure-hugging dress. I cycle a lot and my thighs and bum are bigger than they should be. This has left me with lumps and bulges that I would rather not be there. I hate this and it makes me feel so self-conscious. My legs are very defined and I just don't like it.

Enter Conturve High Waisted Shaping Shorts They are a dream. I struggle really badly to find shapewear that fits me. I don't know how many times I have heard small people don't need shapewear. We do for the reasons I have already spoken about. So many companies ignore this and don't offer shapewear in smaller sizes. But Conturve do. These are size XS/S and they fit me. They come in four colours black, brown, baige and white. There is an option for any colour of dress or skirt out there. They are a medium compression fit and I find this is the perfect about for me. I feel secure and that I can move and have a good time whilst feeling confident.

The last photo is me not wearing the high-waisted shapewear shorts you can see I am bloated and my dress is no longer streamlined and looks more bumpy and lumpy. They make such a big difference and I feel so confident in them.

I can fully promise you will not regret buying these. They are the perfect high-volume shapewear shorts. I can say that as I have tried quite a few at this stage. These would be perfect if you are going to a wedding or any special occasion or just a night out. These will become your favourites they are mine for sure. They leave you looking so smooth and seamless in your clothes. They give me all the confidence I need to feel good in what I am wearing and they just work.

My stomach is one of my problem areas. After years of weight loss, it is not as flat as I would like. I feel really self-conscious about my stomach area. When I am wearing a more mermaid dress like the red and pink above or a tight top and flowy skirt combo there is only one option for me Conturve High-waisted shaping panty. These again are a medium compression fit. Which is my favourite they make you feel sucked in but with the freedom of movement. Conturve just seems to understand the brief (pardon the pun).
