The last few years have been different and this year is unique in itself. But this year does see more of a return to a more normal festive period.  This means the return of Christmas parties. With us all being a bit out of the loop, on the whole going out at Christmas thing. It is time to get picking our Christmas outfits and I am here to help with my top picks for Christmas party outfits in 2022. 

Is it just me or does this season just feel different? I feel like at Christmas you can take a bit more risks in fashion than you normally would? but this year I feel like you can take more fashion risks in general and I am here for that!

So today we are going to pick three outfits for Christmas parties. I am going to do a classic office party, a family Christmas party and Out out with the girls. I am not going to go into hair and make-up choices as that is a post for another day. Today we are just talking all about fashion. 

Office party 

This can be a hard one to style. You are going to be surrounded by your bosses and colleagues you want to look good but also be appropriate right? 

I would add a gorgeous Stiletto heel like these sass lace-up strappy square platform stiletto heels in black iridescent diamante. These shoes are stunning and what a great excuse to order them. I mean you need matching shoes for your office party don't you? 

I always recommend a bigger bag for office parties like the shining-shaped shoulder bag in silver metallic faux leather. Office parties always go on longer than most. wether you start with a meal or go straight out after work you will want more items with you.  for example,  make up to touch up, your phone and even an emergency charger etc so a bag with a bit more room in it like this one is always the best option. 

Out Out with the girls

I mean if this High neck long sleeve mini bodycon dress in silver sequin doesn't scream "Let go Out Out" then what does. This is Christmas night out with the girls in a dress and screams let's have some fun. 

I love the whole look of this dress it's a big statement. If there is one time you can be a bit more bold then it's at Christmas with your girls. Can you imagine the lights on the dance floor catching this dress? Now that would be incredible. This dress deserves a night Out Out.

There is one time of year to embrace a bit of forest green then it is definitely this time of year. I think these are just so festive it would be rude not to add them and we all know how comfy and cool sock boots are. win-win

You want to be able to have your bag on you but also be able to dance the night away. So always choose a cross-body that you can fit your phone in. This fits the bill perfectly and will complete this outfit. 

Family Party 

This year more than any other there are Christmas parties that have never happened before.  Enter the family Christmas party a warm-up to Christmas day or to catch up with relatives you hardly ever see. This one is always fun to dress for. Not to worry I have you covered. 

I love this Bardot long sleeve mini bodycon dress in stone knit. This is a gorgeous versatile dress that you can wear over and over this winter. it is warm looks classy and is stylish. It can be dressed up or down and I am sure you will wear it all winter long. 

 I would team this with thigh high boots in black like these. I am obsessed with these. They have the right style of the heel so they will be super comfy all day or night long. They look super expensive but are affordable and they can be worn with so many outfits. Is it just me or are we seeing this style of boots all over fashion blogs and sites at the moment? I hope this is a trend that will stay as I love them. 

Lastly, I am obsessed with The She-hear quilted detail chain strap heart-shaped cross-body bag. I love it, I like the unique and quirky shape and I think this would tie the whole outfit together. I would go for matching gold jewellery to really tie the bag into this outfit.
