Today since it is after all the second royal wedding. I want to talk outfits for a wedding in the autumn/winter. It is always a difficult season to dress for and add in a wedding and it gets super complicated. We all want to look our best but with the chance of wind and rain, it can be hard to choose the right outfit.
So I thought I would show you my top picks for the season and the handbags to match. You may already know, I love a nice handbag. I would be doing us both a mischief if I didn't include them. It is always easy to choose the shoes to go with any outfit but my favourite thing to match is the handbag to the outfit. My friends are always asking my opinion on this, so I thought I'd share it with you.
First up I had a wedding to attend last weekend and here is my outfit.
This is a lipstick boutique dress. I actually didn't need to wear any jewellery, other than my wedding and engagement ring. As the dress so statement. It is a stunning red fishtail design. Which really suits my hourglass figure and has a really flattering neckline. , Unfortunately, the day when so fast, that this is the only photos I got of me in the dress.
I paired this with Anna Cecere Italian designed Gioello Jewel clutch evening bag in Red £89.00. It comes with a detachable chain. It is the perfect size for a wedding, as it is small enough to be carried but big enough for all the essentials. It is such a show stopper. It looks even better in real life.
One of my favourite places for a wedding guest outfit is Coast.
This is the Dawn full midi dress £169. I Love navy for this season. The flashes of turquoise giving that little edge to this classic style. It is elegant and goes with everything. This dress is perfect for an athletic shape as it gives the illusion of curves. There was a lot of this style at today's royal wedding.
I'd team this with Pratesi Brunelleschi Radica Leather Handbag in Blue £279.
This bag is a bigger one, it is for the girl who takes everything with her to a wedding. Especially good for those with children to hide some much-needed baby supplies in whilst still looking on point. This bag is so elegantly designed but has interesting modern touches like a Led light within. Making losing things in your handbag a thing of the past. Also how royal are the colour and style?
Again this one is Coast. It is called Nyla printed wrap dress. This would work best for girls with fabulous curves. I love a wrap dress. I think it works for girls of every shape but best suited to us hourglasses and plus size girls. Let's show our curves girls. I love the highlights of pink and purple. I think this one is screaming for a nice pink fascinator. Personally, I would also have a nice heel with this as I feel the boot is just too much.

I think this would pull the outfit together and add that special touch. As much as I love a clutch the practical girl in me does love a bag with a strap and this one is a stunner.
Last but not least this is another Coast Evelina sequin Jacquard maxi dress. To me, this is the colour of this season. I love the structure of this dress. It has a regal edge to it. Like something you would see Meghan or Kate wearing to a gala or event. I would complement this with gold shoes and possible gold hair jewellery.
