If you have been following me for a while you will know I have a love of the sea and especially fishing villages. Having grown up with my dad. Who is a deep-sea fisherman? Swanage roots formed from a small fishing village into the town it is today. I can not wait to explore the area.
We are booking our holiday cottage with dorsetcottages.com who are fantastic and have some amazing properties. I want to narrow it down to my top three today and get your opinion on which we should go for?
My cottage checklist

First up
This is a stunning property it has two bedrooms and a fantastic view. It is modern and airy. It ticks all my wish list and more. I love the sea view and the outdoor seating area. it also has two balconies which are amazing. I do love a nice view. From here we can walk to the town center so this is a brilliant advantage of this property.
Next up.
Samphire Swanage - Dorset
This property has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and ticks all my list requirements. I love the nautical theme running throughout the property. It is a Victorian house. It has a high ceiling and big windows. It is only a 5-minute wall to the centre of town but in a quiet cul-de-sac. This one is gorgeous and I really like all the feature but I think it would a bit big for just the two of us. Maybe I could invite a couple of friends to come with us.
Last but not least.
10 Broadleys Swanage - Dorset
This one is divine. It modern it's airy it is decorated to a really high standard whilst keeping the minimalist feel. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms one en-suite. Both bedrooms have their own balcony and are perfect for sunbathing! it is a bit further out of the town about 15 minutes walk to the centre. But again has all my requirements. I have to say this one is the top runner for me I love the decking balconies.
