How are you all?
It's day two of our adventure at Bluestone Wales. Check out day one if you haven't seen it yet.
We woke after a blissful sleep and it was breakfast time. We had already packed breakfast. As we all sat down to a coffee bacon roll cooked by the boys we had a visitor.
We had a walk around the village area and got our bearings. It was time to head back to the lodge and feed ed and decide what to do with our day.
As you can see from the Duck Vid it was very wet. It was decided that we would nip to a local supermarket in a nearby village to will up the fridge and get petrol and then head to go to the Blue Lagoon.
The Blue lagoon waterpark Is amazing. First, you are checked in you get free passes with your welcome pack when you arrive. these are valid for your visit. There are lots of changing room and big family changing rooms with all you need to change a baby. Lockers were one pound and there were loads of these in all shapes and sizes.
The water park is huge. There is a pool area which turns in to a wave pool, A baby pool filled to the brim with fun toys and balls. Flumes and jacuzzi's and so much more. There are so many things to do. The lazy river was one of my favourites. It circles the pool and goes outside. The pool is so nice and warm, the temperature was perfect and this meant little Ed didn't get cold in either of the pools.
It was pretty cold and rainy outside when we were there but it was still so much fun to go in the lazy river. There is an outdoor jacuzzi on your way around. It was a bit cold to walk to but we managed to make the dash over to it. It so so nice being in a nice hot jacuzzi when it was cold outside.
I have a bit of a fear of water flumes and I even ventured down the big one. It was nerve-racking but a bit of peer pressure and I was away. It was so much fun. I think the Men enjoyed it more than any of the kids there. It is funny when you see grown up in this type of place. We were all having so much fun. Ed loved the wave pool and was in fits of giggles every time they came on. He also loved the baby pool and the endless balls in it.
I have to say this was such a fun way to spend the afternoon. We all had an absolute blast. It was time to get out and for back to our lodge and make dinner. Tonight we made fajitas wraps. We found it easier with Ed to cook in the lodge. Mr quack came back but this time he had a pheasant friend with him. This was so cool. We have loads of Pheasants up here in the highland but I have never met on so friendly. He was very happy to let you watch him and was defo eyeing up our dinner.
We did make a quick bike run to the on-site supermarket to pick up some ice lolly and bread.
Us girls headed to bed early and left the men watching films. The perfect day in paradise.
