Hi everyone,
How are you all?
The lovely people at www.chill.ie have asked bloggers what is your favorite #hiddendrives ?. This has given me inspiration to find hidden secret road trip ideas for a trip for me and my husband.
Ireland.
I have never been to Ireland I know its awful and I need to remedy this ASAP.
I Love game of thrones and it is filmed in Ireland I am desperate to go and check out.
The plan would be to fly to Dublin and hire a car to drive to Tollymore forest
This would be a 81 mile drive. Do the walking tour there. Maybe stay in that area for the night and make our way to the giants cause way about 91 miles! One night there and make the return to Dublin for a night then the flight home.
This sound like a great drive to me. Ireland is one of those bucket list places for me. it looks so beautiful it almost can't be true.I honestly cant wait to go to Ireland. Accommodation is amazing in Ireland and there is something for everyone budget. Id love to spend a month traveling the whole country

Scotland
We are based in Mallaig and I have to say My favorite #hiddendrives in Scotland has to be Torridon.
This is only 73 miles from us. Which included a ferry ride but the scenery is the best in the country. The drive is like no other. It is mountainous and everything is giant! Be prepared to feel very small indeed. As a mountain biker this is paradise. The rugged landscape and trails are unbeatable for off the beaten track riding. I have to say I am yet to bike Torridan but hope fully this summer. Accommodation in Torridon is in short supply book in to the local hotel or camp.
Living in the highland I think I can take for granted the amazing scenery we have to offer, To me it is everyday and just to get shopping from a supermarket we travel 40 miles each way. Mallaig to Fort William is a very popular #hiddendrives in its self. So many people do it, yes it is stunning with the Harry potter bridge in Glennfinnan, The mountains and the sliver sands of Morar beach. I am blessed to live in such a place of beauty.

England.
I love Cornwall and Devon and My favorite drive is to mousehole. We drive from Torquay in Devon to family in Mousehole Cornwall and there is nothing like it. from little county road to the busy Motorways.
I love the drive though Dartmoor with the wild pony's running across the road so wild and barren. Stopping of on route in Plymouth and Falmouth. Looking at the gorgeous sailing boats.
Not forgetting a trip to the Lizard. The most perfect unspoiled beach in Cornwall. There is so much choice in Cornwall from boutique hotels to cozy b&bs accommodation for everyone.
